Bodegas Ismael Arroyo S.L. is a family winery founded in 1979, when there was still no designation of origin, Ismael fought together with a small number of winegrowers to create this Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin, which was formed in 1982.

The winery owns 25 hectares of vineyards, planted solely with the Tinta del País grape variety.

The vineyards reach an average age of 50 years (some are up to 90) and offer unmatched grape quality.
