For the production of Marqués de Vargas Reserva, a careful selection and manual harvest of the grapes is carried out, which come from 50 Ha of the estate's own vineyard, which was planted by the family that holds the marquisate as early as 1840. The harvest It is carried out by micro-plots, of which we have identified 34, and they are vinified separately in order to obtain the greatest possible expression of our vineyard.
In Marqués de Vargas a sustainable agriculture is practiced, without herbicides or pesticides and we cultivate our vineyards as if it were a garden.
The wine is then aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, followed by long months in the bottle until it reaches its optimum moment of consumption.
The result is a paid wine, with character, elegance and personality, with the aging capacity of the great Rioja wines.
