The 1972 vintage is considered by many to be one of the best Aszú vintages of the 20th century. The ideal weather conditions for the development of the Botrytis occurred mostly throughout this year, so the harvest, thanks to a warm, dry, sunny October with cool nights, gave rise to an extraordinary harvest, which It has not been repeated until the following century, in the harvest of the year 2000.
