Zamburiñas en salsa de Vieira Portomar
Scallops in Scallop Sauce.
The zamburiña is a mollusk collected in the Galician Rías with rigorous health controls. Due to their preparation, they can be enjoyed alone, or as an accompaniment to rice and steamed potatoes. It belongs to the family of oysters and clams and with them it shares its high protein, iron, and vitamin B12 content, and also provides phosphorus, potassium, and selenium, an important antioxidant.
