- Deep gold; Almost polished bronze. Medium body. Soft and golden, smooth as syrup.
- Broad, firm, soft and clean, but with a forceful, sweet and honeyed dessert character that suggests the pleasure that is to come. There is also a minty freshness and a modest smoky note.
- Gently honeyed, sweet, comforting and rich in texture with a balanced acidity of ripe autumn fruits. Getting spicier, with gingerbread; then thicker with rich malt bread, suggestions of molasses and mint; and then a soft, distant smoke.
- Exquisitely heart-warming: lingering and comforting with a pleasingly chewy conclusion. Smooth and unctuous with sweet malt, raisins and dark chocolate. Growing lightly aromatic, too, with hints of dates and sandalwood.
