- The nose presents intense aromas of ripe red fruit (raspberry) with light toasted and spicy hints of cocoa and licorice that reflect a noble aging.
- Powerful and full on the palate with a very fresh and fruity mid-palate, very savory and complex, mineral, with a notable finish where fruity and spicy aromas reappear at retronasal temperature, along with very ripe tannins.
- Ideal with rice dishes with game and honeyed meats, stewed legumes, mushrooms, game and poultry, casseroles, fish and seafood in sauce, smoked dishes, cured and blue cheeses, grilled and barbecued white and red meats, roast lamb, pork, beef, etc.
