Made from a selection of Tempranillo grapes, which grow in plots with a variety of soils.

- Intense nose of ripe red fruit, spices and licorice.
- Fresh fruit with hints of roasting provided by the barrel. Silky tannins and long persistence on the palate.
The history of the Alonso del Yerro family began in 2002, when they settled on the Santa Marta estate (Roa, Burgos), in the D.O. Ribera del Duero, to work on a set of rigorously selected plots, planted since the end of the '80s with Tempranillo grapes and with the aim of producing high quality wines.
To do this, aware that to make the best wine they surrounded themselves with the best, counting from the beginning on the advice of Stéphane Derenoncourt.
This project is based on its principles: respect for the environment, the value of friendship, love for family and passion for excellence.
In 2007 they acquired the Finca Miguel vineyard, in the D.O. Toro, from where Paydos is born; different appellation of origin, same principles.
