- The aging took place in French oak barrels, 20% new, for twelve months, with two manual rackings.

- Medium-high ruby color with a clean cherry-colored rim.
- The nose stands out for the expression of black fruit with touches of blueberry, blackberry, red plum, licorice, cardamom and mineral memories accompanied by moderate notes of aging: coffee bean, toffee and box of chocolates.
- The palate is deep and balanced, standing out for its freshness and elegance. It shows a persistent fruity aftertaste.
- Ideal to enjoy by the glass, to serve as appetizers or to accompany pasta dishes, rice, sushi, light meats and fish.

Áster was founded in the year 2000 in Anquix in the heart of Ribera del Duero. Currently, 2,700 French oak barrels rest in its facilities in which the wines destined for Áster Finca El Otero and Áster Crianza are aged before rounding up in silent bottle racks.
