- Intense picota cherry red with a purplish tint, great depth, slightly open, clear.
- Complex, fine and elegant. High intensity, clean and very nice. Intense black fruit with hints of ripe plum red fruit, cherries and candied sloes, fine leather, vanilla, truffle. Mineral background, floral memory.
- Entry slightly sweet, fresh and rich. Black fruit with a red finish, very fine and integrated toasted notes. Fresh and pleasant tannins. Spicy, sweet vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg, mineral touch, saline.
- Warm, long aftertaste with a toasted finish, clean leather, vanilla again.
Finca Matasnos is located in Peñaranda de Duero, Burgos, 18 kilometers from Aranda del Duero, at an altitude of 950 meters on the Ribera del Duero plateau.
In this wine-growing area of Spain, it is not easy to grow vineyards as there are many frost problems, which makes it difficult for the grapes to mature.
They never produce more than 3,500 kg. Less quantity means higher quality.
Of the wines that make up the family, only one comes out a year, it is the White Label.
