Pago de Carraovejas was born from the illusion of a great dream. Estate and winery, tradition and innovation, fruit and wood, are the essence of the balance that keeps it in continuous evolution.
And as an illusion that is born of people, Pago de Carraovejas grows from its human team, a team forged in trust that, from commitment and demand, defends its entrepreneurial nature.
The big dream: to create a unique vineyard and facilities in a unique place, always in search of quality, avant-garde, and respect for the traditional ... with the intention of continuing to offer expressions that last in the memory.
The first harvest of Pago de Carraovejas was in 1991, the result of the barely 70,000 kilos that gave the first 25 hectares in production. In the following years, the vineyard and winery would increase in successive extensions through a continuous but also slow and thoughtful growth, always governed by the criterion of not losing an iota of quality, currently reaching 200 Ha.
To this vineyard area, we must add the more than 14,000 m2 of buildings that we currently have. Facilities where tradition and avant-garde come together, with the most modern technologies and a deep respect for natural processes, always seeking continuous improvement through investment in different research, development and innovation projects.
