/ Tempranillo, GracianoÁngeles de Amaren is a tribute to the winemaker's mother, Ángeles. It is a red wine from Rioja made with the Tempranillo and Graciano varieties, with separate aging to preserve on the one hand the fruitiness of the Tempranillo and the complexity and spice of the Graciano.

- Bright and clear.
- Intense aroma, with prominent minty and fresh notes, with balsamic hints, cranberry, anise, and nutmeg. Ripe and concentrated fruit: blackberries, black licorice, dried fig, and plum. These are followed by mineral notes of graphite and limestone.
- A silky, round, and enveloping entry. The acidity provides freshness and verticality, while the tannins add structure and persistence.
- A finish in which spicy and balsamic notes stand out, reinforcing the overall complexity.
Bodegas Amaren was born in honor of Ángeles, wife of Luis Cañas and mother of Juan Luis (Bodegas Luis Cañas). Juan Luis Cañas was devising to make a different wine, a wine that would express the variety's personality to the maximum. A 100% Tempranillo from several plots of old vineyards and that's where Amaren Reserva Tempranillo 1995 comes from.
At Bodegas Amaren each wine has its own personality. Each one tells us its story, transmitting its origin from the land, its varieties, its climate and its character to make us enjoy. Each and every one of them has their moment, their leading role and they only demand the opportunity to express their full potential in a glass.
