Considered the precursor of the wines of the new era of Rioja. Its preduction is very limited and only in the great vintages.

- Clean, bright, cherry red color with violet hues. Medium high intensity.
- Expressive, great aromatic intensity of black fruits, graphite, mineral terroir notes, licorice, violets, undergrowth. Hot spices, cocoa and tobacco. Integrated wood.
- Powerful entrance, volume, structure, silky texture. Lively and ripe tannins. Long and persistent, elegant, good acidity. Fruit, blue flowers.
- It is advisable to oxygenate it in a decanter before consumption. Improving with the days in the open bottle, it can remain open, preserved in good conditions, for 3 or 4 days, during which it gains in complexity.
