It is an atypical and very personal interpretation of Verdejo that brings together two typical characteristics of this variety: freshness and structure; the freshness of the plots that fermented in tanks and the structure and complexity of those that did so in barrels.
Belondrade produces great Verdejos from the D.O. Rueda, more than a wine, is a philosophy, a vision. It is respect for the environment. It is the reasoned work of the vineyard. It is to select the grapes in a meticulous way and then take care of them with care, and it is to develop their own yeasts and then keep the must for almost a year in the barrel and six months in the bottle before putting it on the market.
