Bodegas Arzuaga is located in Valladolid, in the middle of the name of the place of origin of Ribera del Duero. The cradle of the wine produced by the winery is located on the La Planta estate, owned by the Arzuaga family in the town of Quintanilla de Onésimo in Valladolid.
The winery has good grape growing conditions because its vines can absorb sunlight and the necessary moisture for the grapes to ripen perfectly. There is no doubt that the production of Arzuaga wines is based on three premises: soil, climate and orientation.
La Planta is where flora and fauna coexist in this area. The flora is made up of pines, holm oaks and junipers, while the fauna is made up of wild boars and deer. There is no doubt that this coexistence demonstrates the love of the Arzuaga family for the natural world. The farm has an area of 1,400 hectares and is a luxury between the Ribera del Duero sect and the Golden Mile.
At the beginning of the 90s, after Florentino Arzuaga bought the La Planta estate, he began planting grapes, building a winery and, of course, making wines of famous quality and great recognition both in Spain and abroad.
