- Very intense bright cherry colour, with cardinal rims.
- Good fruit-wood balance in which vanilla tones blend with well-ripened fruit, black berries and forest berries. Notes of leather and liquorice stand out.
- Mild on the palate, but full of balanced flavours, with fine tannins that will help extend its life, to finish with a long and elegant finish on the palate.
- Roast lamb, grilled red meats, stews, roasts, small game, acorn-fed Iberian ham.

Pago de los Capellanes is a winery belonging to the Familia Rodera Villas group and is located in the Ribera del Duero.
The wine is made in the vineyard, and it is in the vineyard where they put all their effort to express with transparency and honesty the unique personality of the place. Following the best tradition of its origins, vineyard management is meticulous, environmentally conscious and committed to the diversity and richness of ecosystems.
Each vineyard is unique and in each plot they develop a tailor-made viticulture. Tillage depends on the specific conditions of its soils as well as the climatic characteristics of the harvest. In the final section of the cycle, the vineyard is observed and cared for in an exhaustive way to guarantee its health and balance. Selecting the grapes in the field, harvesting by hand and seeking to preserve the maximum typicality and quality.
