- Aromas of red and black fruits, with balsamic notes (licorice), picotas and mocha.
- Fresh and meaty at the same time, with a good concentration of ripe red and black fruit, all accompanied by soft grainy tannins.
- Good balance, silky and a mineral and fresh finish on the palate.
- White and red meats, roast lamb or kid in particular, stews with mushrooms, rice dishes particularly those containing meat such as rabbit paellas, semi-cured and cured cheese, all kinds of mushrooms, black truffle and rice pudding.
Bodegas Dominio de Atauta is located in a valley with a long wine-growing tradition and with extreme conditions, both due to the altitude at which it is located, as well as a climate with little rainfall and large temperature fluctuations.
The philosophy that the winery has followed since its inception has been to pamper the fruit obtained in the vineyard throughout the entire cycle with exceptional qualities and carrying out a careful intervention in the winery.
Over the years and adding an excellent human factor to the unique conditions of the terroir, those from Dominio de Atauta have managed to carve out a niche among some of the most renowned wines of such an outstanding Designation of Origin as Ribera del Duero.
