Valduero is a family winery and one of the oldest within the D.O. Ribera del Duero. It was created in the heart of the Ribera del Duero, in the Burgos town of Gumiel de Mercado in 1984.
At that time, the Ribera del Duero was an unknown area with little fame for the general public, although it was already beginning to be known by experts for the quality of its wines, produced by less than a dozen bottling wineries that were in area.
Currently, production has increased, but always prioritizing quality over quantity.
The foundations for the growth of the winery come from 3 pillars: its own vineyard, a winery that stands out, combining aesthetics and practicality, and the international market.
