Tasting notes
- Cherry red, with a medium layer, pale pink edge.
- Very intense aroma, clean, balsamic and spicy notes dominate: vanilla, caramel, English chocolate, spices on a fruity background of prunes and dried apricots
- Balanced, elegant acidity, with structure, round polished tannins, oily at the end. The aftertaste is broad, very long, with notes of sweet fruits and very marked licorice.
Consumption and conservation
- For the most special occasions. Main courses without heavy sauces. Meat stews with aromatic herbs. Chocolate desserts. Ideal as an after-dinner drink.
