Bodegas Thesaurus is located in the Valladolid municipalities of Olivares de Duero and Cigales. To make its wines, it selects grapes from the Ribera del Duero, Rueda and Cigales designations of origin.
La Ribera is ideal for growing vines, with a rather calcareous terroir and at an altitude of between 750 and 850 meters. Its proximity to the Duero River, together with the extreme temperatures, make the plant strong and generate the perfect conditions for growing the Tempranillo variety, the most abundant in the national territory and one of the most complete and balanced that exist. The vineyards from which the grapes are extracted are between 15 and 60 years old and their collection is carried out with a very rigorous selection of each fruit. The process is controlled by the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Ribera del Duero.
Bodegas Thesaurus mixes family tradition, the generational experience of its team and technological innovation to produce the best wines in the province of Valladolid.
The Martín Verástegui family loves their land, pampers the vineyard a lot, inspects the grape until it convinces them, analyzes it in the laboratory and is guided by the climate, nature and heritage that surrounds it. He risks and plays with the human factor and complements it with the most modern winemaking systems.
