- Deep cherry red. Clean and bright with a high color intensity.
- Intense aromas of red fruit, cherries, raspberries, and blackberries. Hints of blue flowers like violets appear, along with aromas of licorice, balsamic notes, and a hint of pencil lead or graphite.
- Fresh, powerful, long, and elegant, the dark fruit and menthol notes reappear. A long, lingering, and fruit-filled finish.
- Pairs well with charcuterie, semi-cured cheeses, oily fish, some white meats, and even roasted red meats like kid or lamb. It also complements mushrooms, cod dishes with sauce, and generally fish in sauce.

Raíz de Guzmán Winery, Ribera del Duero Wines
Raíz de Guzmán was founded in 1998, continuing the project that began in 1985, the year Páramo de Guzmán cheeses were launched. Raíz was born under the same philosophy: tradition, innovation, and above all, quality. The winery houses 500 barrels. Eighty percent are French oak and twenty percent are American oak. These are replaced every three years to guarantee the quality of the wines.
